The Cadillac CT5 was unveiled in 2019 and will hit the market as a 2020 model. The new Cadillac compact luxury sedan replaces the CTS and picks up where the popular Cadillac sedan left off. The difference is that the new CT5 will be more fun to drive, dynamic, and technologically advanced.
Built on Cadillac's new Alpha platform, the 2020 Cadillac CT5 is designed to be both powerful and comfortable. The CT5 therefore aims for perfect stability in any situation and will be offered in two versions, with several models and levels of equipment in each of these versions.
The Cadillac CT5 350T kicks off with a powerful 237 horsepower, 258 lb-ft of torque, turbocharged engine with a ten-speed automatic transmission. This impressive gearbox can modulate the power very well in any situation. The other option in the CT5 lineup is a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine developing 335 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Powerful enough to allow the 2020 Cadillac CT5 to reach 100 km/h in less than 5.0 seconds, this engine will also be very efficient with an average fuel consumption rating of less than 10.0 litres per 100 kilometres.
